Weather presentation with focus on recognizing and avoiding in-flight hazards associated with thunderstorms. Many actual incidents/accidents cited; numerous in-flight images, collected over many years, used to illustrate the presentation.
Mr Gambrell has over 30 years experience in aviation meteorology. Founder and Director of Aviation Services for WSI Corporation until retirement from the company in 2009. Currently providing consulting and training services for airlines, Part 135 operators and GA interests. Mr. Gambrell is an active pilot who holds a commercial certificate with Instrument, Multi-engine and Seaplane ratings. CFIA, CFII,(Gold Seal) and Advanced Ground Instructor ratings.
