$2,000 The Candie Oldham Honorary Scholarship

Open to women and men who are residents of, or studying in, the New England Region and have soloed.
$2,000 The William Bridge Scholarship
Open to a woman with at least a private pilot certificate who is a resident of New England or is studying in New England towards an advanced rating.

3   Annual Student Aviation Art Competition - National Museum of the US Air Force

  Grades K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12    
        Artwork entries must be scanned and submitted via email between March 1-15, 2019 
The first 50 submissions in each category will be accepted.

4    ACONE (Aero Club of New England) - PILOT TRAINING Scholarships

  PRIMARY TRAINING
  The Liberty Bell Scholarship $ 2,000 
  The Andrew Channing Cabot Memorial Scholarship $ 2,000
  The Bauer-Bisgeier Memorial Scholarship $ 1,500     
  The Michael T. Hadik Memorial Scholarship $ 1,000 
  20 hours plus solo for the primary flight training (initial ) scholarship.   
Demonstrate a financial need and scholarship for the award   
  Be at least 16 years of age            
INSTRUMENT TRAINING 
  The Dr. Gary P. Kearney Scholarship $ 2,000   
  The Dean Edmonds Scholarship $ 2,000
 
The Crocker Snow Memorial Scholarship $ 1,500
 
100 hours to be eligible for the scholarships       
  Demonstrate a financial need and scholarship for the award     
  Be at least 16 years of age

5    AOPA - Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association - SCHOLARSHIPS

   $1 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, TEACHERS   
  2019 You Can Fly High School Flight Training Scholarships

  AOPA will award 100 scholarships of $10,000 each
  to 80 exceptional aviation-minded high school students ages 15 to 18,
  and to 20 teachers dedicated to advancing aviation education in their classrooms.

  To be eligible, students and teachers must be AOPA members
  The new AV8RS program, which offers free youth memberships to teens

  MUST not have completed a sport, recreational, glider, or private pilot certificate at the time of application

  September 1, 2019 – November 1, 2019 – Flight Training Scholarships

  November 15, 2019 – January 31, 2020 – Post Secondary Scholarships
  January 1, 2020 – April 15, 2020 – Air Academy Camperships
